Brennan Williams heads west for a new challenge

A bittersweet day for the Royals as Brennan Williams announced that he will not be returning to Woodland FC for the 2025 season. He ends the season as one of the pillars of the team that helped capture Select League glory, and part of our US Open Cup squad.

The announcement came shortly after the end of our season in Tulsa Oklahoma.

He ended the season scoring 9 goals in 12 starts. The former director of Sporting Kansas City's youth academy heads out west with new goals in mind.

When asked about his time at Woodland FC, he had this to say:

"Really appreciate all the work you (owner Ross Harris) put in - I know it's not easy. Was a fun experience and I know yall will keep on winning and growing!"

When asked about Williams' departure from the club, Ross Harris had this to say:

"Brennan is an outstanding man and player. I have no doubt that he will succeed wherever he goes in his personal and professional life. We are proud to say, even if only for a short time, that he was a Royal. We will always be grateful that he took a chance and believed in what we were building, and was rewarded for it. I count myself blessed to have worked with such a player."
